scan the text line by line and does the work
i have this scanner pen for a week and use it regularly. it reads aloud/mute or save to a text file after scan. i purchased this scanner for education. it works very well with ChatGPT.

Well executed hardware
The hardware on this Pen Scanner is very well done. There is a little sliding piece to detect when it's up against the page and that is well hidden and well constructed so it works reliably and smoothly. The light is good and the viewing window well framed such that I never had any problem targeting the pen or figuring out what line it was on. (I am using it to get notable quotes from books as I read.)

Really cool and useful
I like how this pen works and I use it for my school and other things as well. Easy to connect using a QR code, just follow steps to set it up and start scanning. There is no app associated with this device, instead a website page that types in your text automatically when using the pen.
The pen also lights up when scanning so that it's easier to see the text.
Now I tried scanning text on white and colored background, capitalized and cursive text too and it all seemed to work just fine, meaning every letter and punctuation too. I highly recommend for all the students and other folks who doesn't have time to type a whole lot.

Helped my below grade level reader
My child has really struggled to improve his reading level. He is in 3rd grade and was unable to read on his own without stopping multiple times to ask for help with a word. We got this pend in hopes that he would be able to improve his independent reading and it has worked great. When he struggles with a word he simply highlights over it and it reads the word outload to him, then he can continue right on with minimal interruption. He is really good about using the pen only when he has too, and his reading level and confidence has improved.

I use this to augment English as Second Language Adults
The accuracy is amazing as are the number of languages available. I use it to help tutor non-English speaking adults and it's never failed me. A little tricky to use at first, but their online tutorials are very helpful.
